The American organization ADL conducted a study among gamers on which online games they most often encountered bullying in 2022.
According to the survey results, Valorant players were most often trolled and insulted - 80% of gamers aged 10-17 have encountered this at least once.
The second place in this ranking was taken by Dota 2. In Valve's MOBA, 71% of players were subjected to online bullying. In third place was Fortnite with 66% of offended gamers. Competitive shooter CS:GO ranked 12th, with 58% of its players facing abuse. Another popular MOBA, League of Legends, finished in 13th place with 56%. Players aged 13-17 had similar results, but PUBG battle royale came in third with 70% of respondents being bullied.
Minecraft is the safest game in the study, with only 46% of those surveyed reporting instances of abuse online. A summary table comparing last year's results is shown below.
