COVENANT UPDATES
Players who have reached the maximum level of fame in their covenant will be able to switch between the four covenants at any time and without restrictions. Decorative rewards earned in one covenant, such as pets and mounts, will remain available even when moving to another covenant. The ability to change covenants and use cosmetic rewards is unlocked for all characters as soon as one of them reaches the required renown level.
We will abandon the system of energy conductors - it will be possible to change conductors without restrictions.
Completing a covenant campaign with one character unlocks the ability to skip it for other characters to instantly earn renown rewards and unlock a third soul bond.
An explanation of these changes can be found in our an article dedicated to news about the development of Shadowlands.
NEW CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION
Nightborne and Lightforged Draenei will have new customization options. We're also updating the ability to adjust the size of Void Elf ears, and introducing new travel skins for druids and new beasts for Night Fae's Soul Form.
LEGION - TIME TRAVEL
Travel back in time to face the challenges of Legion dungeons again, including Mythic Keystone Dungeons. The first such event will last for two weeks, after which it will move into the category of additional events and will return for one week.
POSSIBILITY TO SKIP INTRODUCTION WOMB
Players who complete the introductory quest chain in The Maw as a single character will now be able to skip it by playing as other characters on their account. To do this, they will need to speak with Highlord Darion Mograine in their faction's capital.
ISLAND EXPEDITIONS: SOLO AND GROUP PLAY
Players can now start an Island Expedition alone or with their group, choosing from Normal, Heroic, or Mythic difficulty. Unspeakable treasures are already waiting for you!
TALENT AND ABILITY UPGRADES
For the release of Patch 9.1.5, we're looking forward to refining the talents and abilities of various classes, including conduit effects, rune powers, and covenant class abilities.
ACCESS TO ALLIED RACES
Players will now be able to unlock the Kul Tiran, Mechagnome, and Dark Iron Dwarf allied races without going through the dungeon. Instead, they will be able to skip the corresponding quest chain.
ADDITIONAL MOVEMENT POINTS IN THE WOMEN
Players will be able to unlock new travel points in the Maw, connecting the Ve'nari Sanctuary with the Citadel of Eternal Torment and Desmotheron.
USING ANIMA AT A DISTANCE
By completing Archivist Rho-Suir's quests, players will gain access to the Anima Loot in Korthia, allowing them to distribute Anima.
LINKS TO TRANSMOGRY SKINS
Show off your transmog set in in-game chat or on the website by copying the link to it in the dressing room window. Other players will be able to hover over your outfit items to see how to get them, if they have the transmog illusion, and if it's available to their character.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IMPROVEMENTS
We will introduce various improvements to make it easier to develop additional characters in the Shadowlands expansion. These include leveling up your heirlooms to higher levels, as well as the ability to complete Torghast's levels in Threads of Fate and gain renown by completing additional objectives.
PVP EQUIPMENT POWER CHANGES
Low tier PvP gear items will now buff to even higher tiers when entering PvP combat. This will reduce the difference in power between items and allow players with new characters to get to battles on the battlefields and arenas faster. This change will not affect high-level PvP gear.
RECIPES FOR RUNE CUTTER
The chance of obtaining Runecarver recipes in dungeons will increase to 100% in all modes.
CLASSIC LOOT ALLOCATION RULES IN BATTLE FOR AZEROTH DUNGEONS
All raids and dungeons in Battle for Azeroth will feature the classic level 60 loot distribution rules. As a result, players will receive the same amount of trophies as when completing a dungeon with a group of 5 people or a raid with a group of 20 people.
