Overwatch 9 Season 2 update description for February 21, 2024
Here are the general changes to the main version of Overwatch 2. The balance update affects Quick Play, Competitive Play, Arcade and Custom Play.
Following a major patch for Overwatch 2's ninth competitive season that brought sweeping changes to every hero, Blizzard Entertainment quickly released a follow-up patch to clarify some of these key changes.
The OW2 Season XNUMX patch notes, released mid-season, largely focused on reducing the projectile size of heroes that were found to be too powerful after the update. At the same time, some heroes that don't use projectiles and rely on beams or other forms of damage have received small buffs to bring them in line with their hitscan or projectile counterparts.
Here's the full list of changes for the Season Nine update OW2, which will be released on February 21st.
