New Agent and Valorant Season XNUMX Battle Pass

sabina

Riot Games Brazil first introduced Valorant's upcoming ghost agent to their fans in a new trailer that also featured the first season's battle pass, titled Ignite.

Ever since the Valorant closed beta began in early April, players have been eagerly waiting for any news about the next upcoming agent.

Riot announced on April 8 shortly after the release of the beta that in addition to the current playable characters, we will also see two more at launch, for a total pool of 12 agents.

Near the end of the new trailer, we got a few glimpses of a valiant character we haven't seen before, with striking purple eyes and long hair that almost resembles Overwatch's Sombra at first glance.

We didn't have a name in the trailer, but the agents that were dropped in-game during their preliminary round were "Sabina". Snapshot of the new character from the trailer does not exactly match the one found by the players on the maps of the game , but Riot could have redesigned the agent during production, as they did for Raze.

As for her powers, a quick shot from the trailer provided no clues as to what she might be working with, but several voice lines regarding Sabina (if that's indeed what we see in the trailer) were related to "sucking the life" out of enemies like a vampire.

Valorant only has one agent capable of healing their team at the moment and that's Sage. So it might make sense that Riot wants to add another agent with other support features for the full release.

Everything this new red-haired agent is capable of should be revealed by the time Valorant releases its full release on June 2, as well as more information about the Ignite Season XNUMX Battle Pass, which has also been announced.

Like the new Agent, the Battle Pass just glimpsed in Riot's trailer, so what exactly it will include is still unknown - but we can make some enlightened guesses that weapon skins, enchantments, and player profile cosmetics are likely to be enabled.

We know that agent skins will not be included, according to the developers at Riot, there will be no character skins in the game, and there are no concrete plans to add them. It may be possible in the future, but don't expect to see them coming out or in the first season.
