Marvel is diving into the MMORPG market as new rumors suggest the developers of DC Universe Online will bring the project to life.
Between Spider-Man, The Avengers, and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, there's a lack of game content. However, Marvel can expand its horizons with MMORPGs, competing with genre titans like World of Warcraft and FFXIV Online.
The most amazing thing is that the developers of DC Universe Online are potentially making this a reality.

Discovered by Games Journalist @mmmmmmmiller, this secret project was found in company documents. EG7, who has worked with DC Universe co-publisher Online Daybreak Games, is also involved in the project. DC Universe Online lead director Jack Emmert is allegedly leading the Marvel-based effort.
There have been numerous entries in the MMORPG genre that focus on thrills of superheroes. Champions Online, City of Heroes, and Valiance Online have given their own unique take on the genre, but DC Universe Online has really allowed players to unleash their imaginations. The Marvel equivalent is described as a "long-term" project by internal documents.
Daybreak Games tried to implement the Marvel MMO earlier in 2019, with concept art showcasing Iron Man, Captain America, and Red Skull, respectively.
It's possible that with the release of the upcoming MCU films Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness, there could be an official announcement.
