miHoYo reveals new Genshin Impact daily commissions in next update

MiHoYo has confirmed that Genshin Impact's daily commission system will receive a much-needed update in version 2.4. New quests, as well as the long-awaited map change, are expected to arrive in the January 2022 patch.
Daily commissions are the backbone of Genshin Impact. Once you unlock them when you reach Adventure Rank 12, you will earn a lot of your Adventure XP with them, as well as other rewards like Mora, Friendship XP, and Story Keys.
However, in recent updates, the missions have become quite outdated. Over time, the old orders in Mondstadt and Li Yue become repetitive - and more like a chore before you can explore Teyvat every day.
miHoYo has taken notice of this widespread community dissatisfaction and is trying to address some of the issues with Genshin Impact's daily commissions. update 2.4 . The developers are adding several new quests, as well as simplifying navigation between them.
“11 new commission tasks will become available in version 2.4. By completing certain pre-quests or meeting the specified criteria, you will have the opportunity to earn these daily commissions,” miHoYo confirmed in a Dec. 24 blog post.
However, the map change is interesting. Since Inazuma is far away from the rest of Teivat - and the map continues to grow outward - trying to get from A to B can be tedious.
miHoYo has promised "improvements" to the navigation experience on an "ever-expanding map" and will talk more about the changes during a special developer broadcast on December 26th.
Exactly what the new Commission Quests will include remains to be seen, but we hope they add some variety to the day-to-day running of Genshin Impact.
Update 2.4 of Genshin Impact also includes the 2022 Rite of the Lantern event called Fleeting Colors in Flight as well as new releases by Shen He and Yun Jin.
