Who is Sojourn in Overwatch 2?
The story that Overwatch has built over the past few years is compelling, and there's one thing that helps push it even further. This will be a large and growing set of characters that you can choose from. One of the characters introduced in Overwatch 2 is known as Sojourn. Here's her origin story and how she'll fit into the expanded world of Overwatch.
Sojourn is a callsign Commander Vivian Chase, a strong leader with cybernetic abilities. Her Canadian Special Forces unit teamed up with Overwatch during Omnic Crisis. This is where Jack Morrison, aka Solider 76, found them to be great for working together. This prompted him to turn to sojourn about joining Overwatch.
In Overwatch, she sometimes launch point for agents in the field, while at other times she commands operations. Her biggest priority in Overwatch was making sure all of her agents got home safely. However, even though she loved Overwatch, she decided to leave is to use other possibilities.

First Overwatch 2 skins for Sojourn?
Following the release of the video, the official Overwatch Twitter account uploaded four screenshots from the original clip, showing Sojourn in several different outfits.
In the first, she fights alongside Soldier 76 in what appears to be a Canadian Special Forces skin since she first teamed up with Overwatch in the Omnic Crisis.
Another shows the newest hero in black motorcycle gear, sitting on top of his bike in what could be Watchpoint Gibraltar.
Fans have noted that these could very well be in-game skins for the hero, though nothing has been confirmed so far. It's also unclear if the Overwatch 2 beta will include new hero skins.
Either way, Sojourn will be playable on April 26th when the Overwatch 2 beta finally goes live and fans are in for a treat. According to early leaks, Sojourn could be one of the deadliest characters ever added to the franchise.
