The traveler will wake up, but will not find Paimon nearby. We need to check if she was left in the hut.
A formidable man will appear on the approaches to the entrance to the hut. He is angry with your presence, but nevertheless he will let you into the house and reveal his terrible secret. Inside, the Traveler will find a sick hilichurl, who is not a monster at all, but the reincarnated son of the owner of Eide's hut. The man is heartbroken and tries to help his sick son.
The traveler decides to help Eida with medicine for her son and now you need to go to the alchemy workbench, which is located in the courtyard of the house.
It is necessary to create a medicine and by this time you should have the missing ingredients, namely Twilight Rose and Lotus Kalpalata (where to find a curiosity wrote here), in addition to the Unusual Mushroom that Eide has grown. Once you've crafted a prescription drug, you'll get the achievement: Not yet a fatal disease.
However, the cure is not finished yet and there is one more moment...
Take the medicine to the statue of the Archons, which is nearby across the ravine, to infuse it with the power of the wisdom deity.
Return with the medicine to Caribert and give it back. Unfortunately, it won't work. You decide to create it again, but there are no more Unusual Mushrooms, but they can be grown. To do this, you need water from a waterfall and fertilizer.
Follow the quest marker to the waterfall, collect water and return to the field where the mushrooms will be grown.
Give water to Eida and he will grow mushrooms, after which you need to collect them and create another portion of the medicine by repeating the manipulations with the alchemy workbench.
Once again visit the statue of the Archons and charge the medicine, after which you and Eide will see that Karibert has left the hut and is heading somewhere. This will complete Who's allowed to laugh at fate.
The next quest starts automatically and is called: Crying at the sunset of fate.
