When does Apex Legends season 1 start? Release date, new Legends and Weapons.
Apex Legends fans like me are looking forward to the start of Season 1 and the Battle Pass, which will bring new Legends, weapons and loot to players on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
UPDATE - March 12, 3:09 AM EST. Respawn confirmed via a Reddit post that they will be revealing details about the first season, the Battle Pass, and the next Legend "very soon," but it won't release today. They also warn against trusting rumors that have been leaked or mined by dataminers and simply treat them as false information.
UPDATE - March 12, 12:50 pm EST: Unfortunately, it looks like this EA livestream won't have any new information about Season 1 or the Battle Pass, as host Sean has confirmed he doesn't have an official announcement.
UPDATE - March 12, 12:30 p.m. EST: Apex Legends is streaming live from the official EA UK account. There is no confirmation that any information about the first season will be published, but it is possible that some will be.
Apex Legends has already passed the 50 million player mark, quickly establishing itself as one of the most popular games in the world. Now fans of the game are looking forward to the first official season of the game, and many expect the announcement of the first season of Apex Legends to happen in the near future.
When will Apex Legends Season 1 be released?
While Respawn Entertainment has yet to announce an official launch date for the first season of Apex Legends, a roadmap released by the developers to cover 2019 has revealed that the first season will begin in March. An official date remains unknown, although a DailyEsports report claims the season will start on Tuesday, March 12th.
However, on March 6, Respawn asked fans for patience:
“We still have work to do to get everything ready for prime time and we won't talk about it for now. There are many moving parts and coordinations we are working on so please be patient. I know the wait sucks, but it's getting closer and I ask you all to please be patient with us.”
Fans are still excited about the prospect of Season 1 and the Battle Pass that comes with it, but the CEO of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella tried to quell expectations that the start of the first season was imminent. In response to a fan's question about the Battle Pass, Zampella said, "It's even been four weeks since we started! The team promises to work even harder!”
@VinceZampella We are waiting Vince, what is taking so long?🤗🤗

Will there be new legends in the first season?
In a recent update from Respawn Entertainment, the developers have confirmed that new Legends will be coming to Apex Legends during Season 1. One of these legends has already been leaked with information about a new character named Octane, including his abilities and a description of a character who calls him "adrenaline junkie».

Other new characters have also been found, but less is known about them. We'll probably have to wait for the official launch of Season 1 to find out more.
Will the current legends be updated in the first season?
While excitement surrounds new Legends, current Legends are also set to receive changes with the start of the first season. In the March 6 patch notes, Respawn confirmed that if character issues persist, they will consider additional adjustments during the first season. They also noted that significant updates to the hitboxes will be made - especially for Caustic, Pathfinder and Gibraltar - with the release of the first season to ensure that there are no major bugs with the changes. The game files found by the dataminers also found a file related to the battle pass with "Character Skins", so new outfits are likely to appear.
Will Apex Legends have a Battle Pass in Season XNUMX?
Just like in Fortnite, the first season of Apex Legends will feature a Battle Pass. Players will be able to purchase the Pass and then level up to unlock seasonal cosmetic items that can be used on your characters, as well as Apex Packs. There is no official price for the Apex Legends Battle Pass (although there is already a leak from Origin!), but it is expected to be released alongside the first season.
Will there be new weapons or loot in Apex Legends Season 1?
Yes, players will be able to get new weapons when the first season starts. Two weapons have previously been discovered: the Havoc Rifle and the L-STAR LMG.
Players have already gotten their hands on Chaos, which released on February 20th, but L-STAR has yet to make it into the game. It is likely that it will be included in the Season 1 update for the game. New loot for players will also be added, although there is currently no information on what we might see.
How long will season 1 last?
Since the official announcement of the first season has yet to be made, there are very few confirmed details regarding the season. Thanks to the Apex Legends 2019 roadmap, we know Season 2 is due to start in June, so it looks like the season will last around 3 months and end in late May or early June.
