Genshin Impact is set to release the upcoming 3.2 update at 6am (UTC+8) on November 2, 2022. The developers will also be shutting down servers for scheduled maintenance ahead of the global launch to ensure a smooth gaming experience.
The maintenance break will begin at 6 am (UTC+8) on November 2, 2022 and will last approximately five hours. Luckily, developers tend to compensate players for server downtime, and 300 primogems are sent as a form of compensation directly to players' inboxes.

Genshin Impact 3.2 will be updated in less than 12 hours, bringing new content for players once the process is complete. In the next patch, Travelers will be able to play the sequel Archon Sumeru quests, in which it's revealed you'll face Scaramuccia and Dottore at the Academy to rescue Nahida.

Thus, players can expect the process to end at 11:00 (UTC + 8). However, since the next patch is more like a placeholder update without new cards, the downtime may end sooner than expected. Travelers can check the countdown below to track the remaining hours when the process is complete.
Players should be aware that once the maintenance starts, all servers will be down and they won't be able to play for a few hours. The developers compensate them for the incovention by issuing a total of 600 primogems.
Genshin Impact players can receive this reward from their in-game mail immediately after the maintenance ends and they can access the server again.
Genshin Impact 3.2: Preset feature for PC and mobile platforms
Travelers can take advantage of the preload feature, which speeds up the download process after the maintenance update is complete by preloading some of the resources for version 3.2. However, only PC and mobile gamers can use the preinstall option; PS4 and PS5 players are not eligible.
