There are many different weapon types in Dying Light 2: Stay Human, each with different rarity and attributes. Unlike the original, Dying Light 2 doesn't have firearms, and the game does a great job of justifying its absence.
While you have to loot most of the rare and unique weapons in Dying Light 2 with blood and sweat by completing main missions or side quests, you can unlock the Hussar Sword with high damage stats for free. Here's how you can get it.
Dying Light 2: How to get the Hussar Sword
Techland Merchandise is giving away a free Hussar Sword to celebrate the launch of Dying Light 2.
As soon as you log into the game on any of the platforms, you will receive a pop-up from the Techland Gamers and Goodies website with a QR code and a registration link.
To get started, scan the QR code or use the link to receive a unique code that you must use to create an account on the Techland Gamers and Goodies website. You also need to verify your email account, so be sure to check your Spam folder for it.
Once your account has been verified, log in to the GG Techland website and navigate to the platform you are playing Dying Light 2 on. Be sure to link the platform, otherwise Hussar Sword will not appear in your in-game stash.
Dying Light 2 is currently experiencing technical issues both in and out of the game, especially when it comes to redeeming items.
After you have received your reward and completed the prologue of the game, the Hussar Sword should appear in your stash. If it doesn't, know that this is a technical issue that Techland is aware of and is working hard to fix. Either way, your free weapon will be yours soon if it doesn't show up right away.
