How to Use Devotion in Apex Legends: Tips, Damage Stats, and More

weapon

Apex Legends' energy weapons may not be for everyone, but the Devotion machine gun offers plenty of killing opportunities if you're willing to learn its intricacies.

weapon

Devotion is one of the strongest energy weapons in Apex Legends, but in difference from Spitfire , this machine gun works differently. Like most energy weapons, Devotion takes time to kick in. However, after you take a few shots, it will fire bullets at an incredibly high speed. This is further enhanced when you equip the iconic weapon Titanfall turbocharged.

While many players are often put off by a sluggish launch Devotion, there are still connoisseurs of this destroyer, relying on its incredible killing potential. There's certainly no denying just how deadly this LMG can be, and if you take the time to master it, you'll surely gain more. victorious killings as soon as possible.

Apex Legends Devotion Damage Statistics

Devotion (Devotion) may not have received any buffs in season 8 , but the machine gun is still capable of dealing decent damage per second. This is especially true when you manage to find a turbocharger. After all, this allows the LMG to hit 900rpm a lot faster.

Due to the rather high recoil characteristic of the weapon, hitting from a long distance can be quite a challenge, especially if you don't have a muzzle stabilizer. To counter this, it is often better to engage in firefights at medium range. A full damage breakdown for Devotion can be found below.

Ammunition

Devotion can quickly deal with your ammo, so you need to go on the hunt for energy Purple Extended Energy Mag. This is especially true when the Devotion is spinning up to maximum rpm. This deadly energy weapon can pepper opponents with hundreds of rounds if you have the right ammo reserves.

To alleviate the LMG's frustratingly long reload time, you need to do the Mag Devotion upgrade first.

Below you can see how many charges each Extended Energy Mag will give you.

The main reason why many Apex Legends players shy away from Devotion is because weapons in general rely on attachments. While you can get by without a barrel stabilizer and Purple Extended Energy Mag, you won't get too far without a turbo. This Hop-Up not only allows the Devotion to reach its maximum spin speed faster, it also greatly increases the lethality of the LMG.

The Devotion is an absolute DPS machine when it starts working, so having a fixture that reduces the gun's biggest caveat is essential. Finding a Hop-Up turbocharger can be quite tricky, but it's also not entirely impossible.

If you want to use Devotion, you will need a lot of energy ammo.

The Devotion is an incredibly greedy LMG. In fact, this gun can quickly burn through hundreds of Energy shots in seconds, especially if you have a turbocharger. To avoid nasty deaths, it's best to build up stacks of energy ammo.

Make sure your team knows you need this type of ammo and always look for opportunities where you can resupply it. After all, no one likes to hear that awful empty click in the middle of a firefight.

Apex Legends Recoil Devotion
Respawn Entertainment

The recoil of the Devotion is a bit difficult to control.

While the Devotion can offer incredibly fast kill times, its vertical recoil can make it difficult to land those all-important body shots, especially when shooting targets at medium ranges. When you hold the trigger, Devotion will move up the screen and tilt slightly to the left.

As you can see in the image above, the recoil pattern can become quite erratic the longer you hold the trigger. Even with a barrel stabilizer installed, it's still a good idea to slow down your mouse/analog stick drag to reduce the vertical impact of the gun. By doing this, you will be able to land most of your shots.

So, that's all you need to know about Devotion. If you follow these Devotion tips and tricks, you should be able to get more LMG kills in no time.
