Valorant Interactive Map - First Look
Valorant's first battleground has been turned into a highly detailed interactive map that allows players to familiarize themselves with it and gain a competitive edge ahead of the game's full release.
While the release of the Riot shooter may still be quite far away, players eagerly waiting for the release of Valorant are tracking every frame and every piece of new information with a microscope.
As a result Flash has released an early preview of the game's very first map, allowing players to think about the layout and plan some early strategies.
Before you can physically step into the world of Valorant, Blitz lets you see the landscape of the first map in the game.
From an overhead perspective, you can tell that the bombing sites are much closer to the defending side of the map than the attacking ones.
Unlike CSGO in two key ways, defenders are dropped onto the battlefield 30 seconds before the attacking team, and there are three bomb sites scattered across the map instead of two.
This allows for a new strategy as the defenders plan exactly where they want to position themselves in order to best gain an advantage against the advancing enemies.
Also, in a 5v5 game, having three bomb sites also means that players will be spread out over large areas.
The stretch map is already labeled in great detail, giving players early indication of callouts and hotspots to easily communicate with their teams.
From the easily recognizable "connectors" and "tunnels" to the more original "Sky Stairs" and even "Gong" locations, players can experience a lot of things.
However, it should be noted that this overview of the map does not indicate any teleport formthat exists on that particular map.
Only time will tell how important a feature they will become, although based on this official review, it looks like at least one map will be teleport-free at launch.
While Riot has only revealed one game type for Valorant, focusing on bomb defusing and round action, presumably shortly after its release several additional modes will be launched.
It's possible future developments may also feature brand new maps, but for now, you can start developing your strategies for Valorant's first map.
