Genshin impact has taken the world by storm, and with three major updates under its belt, fans are already looking forward to the next 1.4 patch. MyHoYo prepares to ensure that the content continues to evolve and the hype grows. Update 1.4 brings new characters into the fray, as well as new events and possibly a new region.
These are unofficial notes to Genshin Impact Patch 1.4! We have collected all known and leaked information from various verified sources. At the moment, we are pretty sure that in most cases this is true information, but some things may change by the time the update is released. But, as always, take everything with a grain of salt.
Genshin Impact 1.4 release date
Genshin Impact version 1.4 update is slated for March 17, 2021. This is subject to change, but according to miHoYo's official communication from the production team, they are trying to organize a consistent update schedule every six weeks.
However, everything after 1.3 is purely speculation based on the six week update period. MiHoYo should release a new roadmap after the release of 1.3, but whether they do it or not, only time will tell.
- Version 1.4 update - scheduled for March 17, 2021. Region Inazuma should arrive on the Teyvat map with this update; however, information is being leaked and users are speculating that a new area called Chasm .
- Please note that this is just a rumor.
- Version 1.5 update — scheduled for April 28, 2021.
- Version 1.6 update – schedule for June 9, 2021. Rumor has it this update will arrive when Electroregion arrives Inazuma .
MiHoYo has already launched version 1.4 beta in China. So remember, everything here will be taken from the beta, and everything can change.
Inazuma is a region that many users heard before the first major update Genshin impact 1.1. There were rumors that the region would become available in patch 1.4. However, information has recently come in that points to update 1.6, which looks more realistic since Inazuma is a new nation that will supplement the population Mondstadt и Li Yue .
Instead, a new region should appear, much like dragon backbone, called Chasm. Little is known about this new region, but until we receive official confirmation from miHoYo, we cannot be 100% sure that this will be the case.

As usual, miHoYo only released two new characters in one update, with the exception of patch 1.1., and this means that it is completely doubtful that we will see Ayaku, Rosaria и Mimi in update 1.4.

Rosaria is a kind of creepy woman who has a rather unusual idea of piety. Keya described her as someone who is "honest with herself" and "doesn't pay attention to things he doesn't have time for, and doesn't feign motivation for things he doesn't care about."

As for the banner that will be released along with the new events, and will become another reason for repeated prayers, Venti will most likely be on it. The five-star Anemo Archer is an audience favorite. The March update will most likely be the perfect chance to try and get your hands on that cute harp kid if you weren't lucky enough to get him in your first game week.
Events
Ludi Garpastum Festival
Apparently, this event will mark the spring festival of Mondstadt. According to the game's official database:
Ludy Harpastum is an annual festival celebrated in Mondstadt and lasts 15 days. The event is accompanied by games and music. The holiday is one of the oldest in the history of the city.
From the Closed Beta, it appears that the event will consist of three parallel events, where each round will be random, determined by something that will set the type of game you'll be playing. These games will include obstacle courses, projectile dodging, and walking in the dark, a memory game in which you have to memorize the terrain and cross it.
At the end of three rounds, the points will be turned into buffs, in the presence of which you will have to fight the Pyro monster. The higher your score, the easier this fight will become.
Bullseye Balloons
The first event of these is called the Bullseye Balloons. In this mini-game you have to pop the correct balloons within the allotted time. Don't worry, you don't need to have a high level archer character for this minigame. The starting free Amber will be enough. The event also applies to the cooperative mode (multiplayer).

Cliff diving
In this mini-game, you have to dive off rocks into rings that you have to slide through. You will have to use a combination of slide and fall to get all the rings on your way down.
Functions
primordial resin
Primordial Resin gets a buff and you will be able to hold a total of five. This is great for players who don't have time to play daily. This means they can store more of their Resin and use it for double rewards to cut down on leveling time.
Downgrading the World Level
This is an interesting feature: in version 1.4 you can lower the World level. This will help you find more common materials when fighting monsters, and they will be much easier to defeat.
This will be incredibly handy if you want to level up new characters, or even get mid-level materials and then use alchemy to turn them into the highest level possible.
However, this feature will only last 24 hours; after which it will return to normal. We have no idea; Is there a restriction on the use of the feature, or will the feature come at a price.

Unknown content
New Gadgets
New gadgets are always present in every new update created by miHoYo. We already had their range, from geo | anemoresonant stones to a portable saucepan and warming bottles. We have no idea what the new updates will entail, but they tend to be sized for what it's all about.
If hash code C is correct, we suspect some Geo gadgets will become available. Or at least some gadgets to improve the quality of life.
Feeding Artifacts
According to Nep Nepa , renowned researcher of Genshin Impact, this new mechanic is very interesting. You will be able to add new materials to Artifacts. We're not sure if that means new materials to lift them up, or materials to make them stronger.
We suspect that if this is true, then artifacts won't be the only thing these new materials can go into; weapons will be improved in the same way.
Oceanid in 1.4
A new event related to the elite boss Oceanid may come out in 1.4. Rumor has it that it will be like an event Hypostatic symphonywhere you can have a set of buffs or debuffs that will affect your overall score. Then, if you score high enough, you can earn rewards.
We know the Oceanid isn't a much-loved boss, so it'll be interesting to see how fans react to this one.
In this event, you must find Hearts of Pure Water and then use the collected hearts to counter the empowered Oceanid... However, if you manage to defeat the boss and score enough points, you can leave with a new pet.
