How to unlock Dragon Ridge
You can enter Dragon Ridge without having to start Albedo's story quest, Cretaceous Princeps , which means you're free to explore it whenever you're ready!
Recommended Characters for Dragonspine Exploration

Dragonthorn is an icy mountain environment filled with cryo-enemies that aim to freeze you as hard as possible.
Make sure you have at least one Pyro character in your lineup , as meltdown and overload effects are key to winning fights more effectively.
Pyro characters are also useful for lighting torches and campfires to break out of the effect severe frost.

How to unlock the Seven Archons Statue in Dragonspine Mountain
Dragon Ridge has only one Statue of the Seven Archons, which shows all the main locations on the map. Here's how to unlock it:
Get scarlet quartz near the statue
In order to break the ice surrounding the statue, you need to find a piece of scarlet quartz nearby to break the protective barrier.
Break the prehistoric ice and unlock the statue!
Once you get a piece of scarlet quartz, all you have to do is hit the ice and you can activate the statue!
Opening the statue also gives you the achievement Continental Explorer: Dragonspine !

Unlike other regions on the map, exploring the Dragonspine Range will grant your characters the Frostbite status. Here is what it will do:
- ⋅ The status of "Severe Frost" will quickly accumulate in a negative climate.
- ⋅ Characters will quickly lose health once the Cold meter reaches its limit.
- ⋅ Some devices will not be suitable for use in this climate.
- ⋅ Certain actions and environments increase the rate of accumulation of Frostbite

Be sure to keep warm as you explore the cold climate by going to the heat sources! This will help slow down the effects of the bitter frost and allow you to explore the region for much longer.
By leveling the Frosttree to level 4, you will be rewarded with blueprints for crafting thermal bottle. This bottle can be used to reduce the reading of the cold scale to zero!

Like the Statues of the Seven scattered throughout Teyvat, the Tree of Frost accepts offerings of a special ore, Crimson Agate, in exchange for many useful rewards, including new weapon blueprints.

Treasure chests
