It looks like Valve is planning to release some of their projects on consoles. This was hinted at by Gabe Newell himself, speaking at a public school in New Zealand.
When Newell was asked if it was worth waiting for Steam games to come to consoles, the head of Valve replied: "You'll get a better idea of it by the end of this year."
Fortunately, one of the students managed to film Newell's speech, and the video must be seen - just listen to the audience's reaction.
