Travel the world on a walker, a wind-driven wooden mecha inspired by Theo Jansen's kinetic masterpieces. Walkers are mobile bases that can be adapted for travel, cargo transportation, resource extraction, and combat. The sun burns the western lands, turning everything into dust. To save themselves from the deadly heat, the nomads are moving east, where new territories are gradually freed from under the layer of ice.

A large-scale cataclysm stopped the rotation of the Earth, and now the planet is divided into two equally uninhabitable hemispheres. Life glimmers only on a thin strip between the burning and freezing zones. This strip is slowly shifting due to the orbital movement of the Earth, and all living things move with it. In order to move and survive, the remnants of people built nomadic mechanisms and a walking city - the Flotilla.

Survive using everything that is left of the world. Find a source of water, hunt wildlife, hide or fight off pirates, prepare mind-altering potions, and unlock hidden walker technology. Build an autonomous car and tame the wind. Work your way from a poor nomad to a mercenary leader, a fleet commander, or an obscenely rich merchant.

A whole network of trade links stretched between the explored oases. In this international economic system organized by players, smart and cunning traders can profit from supply and demand. However, there are other possibilities: to craft the necessary goods, to extract rare or hard-to-reach resources. But it's always a good idea to assess potential competition. Act wisely. If you interfere with another clan's deal, you may become their next target.

The large open world is made up of many interconnected oases, each covering an area of ​​over 100 square kilometers. Several thousand oases can exist at the same time: the number automatically adjusts to the size of the game base. Explore oases in search of new unique biomes and get your hands on limited resources. Some nomads stop only to replenish water supplies. Others set up camp for a while. But in the end, everyone will have to pack up and move east, fleeing the ruthless scorching sun.

Outside of the inhabited oases, there are desert areas - the Wasteland. You can move from oasis to oasis in this lifeless expanse, and here you can also hide your walker with all the supplies and safely exit the game.

Last Oasis features skill-based, dynamic, skill-based hand-to-hand combat. Nomads can choose from an arsenal of weapons: one-handed and two-handed swords, maces, axes, and combat staffs. And if you like killing enemies from a distance, turn your walker into a fighting machine: install a ballista, a shotgun, a repeating cannon or even a giant sling. Master one weapon to perfection or become a jack of all trades using your entire arsenal.

Build mobile bases or permanent fortifications that will protect you from hostile nomads and environmental hazards. Stone walls provide maximum security, but lighter wooden structures can be loaded onto a walker and used elsewhere.

A clan offers many opportunities to thrive, but small groups and even individual players can also thrive. Clans control large territories and play a leading role in the economy. But cunning merchants, skilled mercenaries, dexterous hunters and pirates can achieve amazing results when playing alone. Play solo for fun, but still don't forget to use the social features: you can always find new friends in voice chat or gather a team and hunt big game.

Gather a powerful clan and achieve political and economic influence. Take control of an entire region and many nomads will supply you with local resources. Look for allies and unite to protect your wealth, because the war is just around the corner. The enemy clan is just waiting for the opportunity to challenge you and take away everything acquired by overwork.

Master the vertical movement. Every nomad has a grappling hook - a wonderful tool that will come in handy for any style of play. Choose what you like: climb the rocks or fly through the forests, overtaking the fastest walkers.

Sandworms - they are also called long - the most terrible threat to nomads. They are predatory, voracious and unrestrained. Sensing prey, the worm rushes in pursuit, and nothing will stop it. To defeat the worm, experienced nomad hunters gather in a large group. Sticking to the worm without preparation is certain death. But if the hunt is successful, this is an occasion to drink barrels of cactus murmur to the bar. After all, a sandworm is a source of the rarest and most necessary resources, so a successful hunt can make the whole team rich.
