Days Gone Bunker and Ambush Camp Guide
There are 14 ambush camps in Days Gone, which are required to complete the Ambush Hunter quest line (and trophy).
In this guide, we will tell you about all the locations of the ambush camps, as well as their bunker locations. Your goal in each ambush camp is to kill all the enemies in it. You are then given a search area to find a hatch to an underground bunker. Below are instructions on where to find each bunker in the camp. Clearing camps is best done discreetly. Crossbow and hand-to-hand combat are perfect for this. You can also throw rocks to distract enemies and then sneak attacks. Clearing out all the ambush camps should be one of your top priorities. They remove the fog from the map and discover collectibles in the area. You also get the crafting recipes needed to craft all types of crossbow bolts for the Pleasant Variety trophy. After completing the story, free exploration of the map is available, so you can return to all regions and complete any side objectives and collect any collectibles you missed. It is worth noting that there are two temporary points of no return. One at the end of Region 3 "Lost Lake" and one at the end of Region 5 "Crater Lake". This will lock you out of some regions until the end of the story. Then after the story ends, the whole map is revealed again.
