Farming Simulator 22 topped the Steam sale, dethroned Battlefield 2042 from #XNUMX spot
Despite a rather peppy start, Battlefield 2042 and Cyberpunk 2077 still couldn't hold the first line in the weekly Steam sales chart, losing to a rather unexpected project. A few days ago, Farming Simulator 22 managed to overtake the shooter from DICE in terms of the number of active players.
Today, Valve published statistics on sales over the past week and farming simulator managed to climb to the top of this list. A rather warm reception of the players (the game has 83% of positive reviews on Steam) and a very problematic launch of Battlefield 2042 contributed to these results. It is worth noting that a week later the online shooter dropped to 52 active players.
In addition, thanks to the big autumn sale, several older projects were able to return to the chart. The long-suffering role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 took the third place, the ratings of which became “mostly positive” for the first time in a long time. The fourth and eighth lines were chosen by different editions of the western Red Dead Redemption from Rockstar Games. Not bad managed to increase their sales and action Horizon Zero Dawn, which took the seventh line of the chart.
