EA Announces Mobile Battlefield Development
In addition to the main Battlefield game for consoles, EA confirms that it is also making a standalone game for mobile devices that will be released next year.
Concerning Battlefield , then in the past few months the main topic of conversation has been the next game in the series, which is expected to be released this year with the working title Battlefield 6 . There have been a lot of rumors and leaks about it, and while there's still no official reveal, EA has finally shared some (admittedly vague) details about it. However, EA also mentioned something that was not previously announced - a mobile game Battlefield.
As with the main game, details about the mobile version Battlefield incredibly few, but Oscar Gabrielson, DICE general manager, developer Battlefield shared some things. First, the game is scheduled for release in 2022. Secondly, DICE is working on this with Industrial Toys, a studio that already has experience making first-person shooters for mobile devices (specifically, two games Midnight Star ). He was ransomed EA back in 2018, making it the first product from EA.
Perhaps the most interesting thing is that this will not be a ported or stripped down version of the console game, but something completely original and designed specifically for mobile devices and tablets. According to Gabrielson, the game is currently in its testing phase and he promises it will be a complete experience. Battlefield, skill-based.
Looking back, you can say that getting Battlefield mobile recording isn't all that surprising. Not only are mobile games becoming more popular, the biggest competitor Battlefield , Call of Duty , currently has a very successful mobile game of its own Call of Duty Mobile . While it may not be as productive as its console counterparts, Warzone и Black ops cold war , it still has a significant player base and has been profitable for Activision. Now she even has her own esports scene. Will there be a mobile game Battlefield an attempt to infiltrate esports or will try to imitate model free-to-play Call of Duty - that's another question.
