Deadpool has broken into Marvel's Midnight Suns!
By now, you may already have your own team to carry out tactical missions in midnight suns, but have you thought about the advantages that a katana-wielding, grenade-throwing, self-healing, chimichanga-loving mercenary Deadpool can bring to the battlefield?
Marvel's First Midnight Suns DLC - The Good, the Bad and the Undead - Now Available, adding Deadpool to the "Midnight Suns" list* along with the improvement of the "delicious food truck" for the "Abbey".
This add-on also introduces new story missions in which the Hunter comes to the aid of Deadpool after he fails to free a powerful artifact from the Red Skull's private collection and encounters the forces of the Hydra, as well as some particularly bloodthirsty vampires. In order to access the Deadpool story missions, you must first complete the "Spidermaaaans" story mission and see Spider-Man unmasked in the abbey during the first act of the base game.
The Deadpool storyline is separate from the events of the main game, but new story missions are available after completing the Spider-Man mission and exposing Spider-Man in the Abbey during the first act. Once you complete the new Human of Culture mission and he joins the Midnight Suns, you can turn him on when gathering a team for any mission. You can also customize Deadpool's appearance with options including 3 additional hero skins, 7 Abbey outfits, and 3 swimsuits.
Deadpool's ability to passively regenerate a percentage of his health each turn makes him a resilient fighter, while his unique En Fuego resource makes him more powerful every time he faces an enemy. The benefits of having Deadpool park his food truck outside of the Abbey go beyond good food: the new ability to discard a card in exchange for an extra turn once per encounter could be a lifesaver!
