Cube World Pets: How to Tame and What to Feed?

Pets in Cube World - These are friendly creatures that side with the players and protect them at the first opportunity.
Pets attack enemies that have received damage from the player. If the player attacks 2 or more opponents, the pet will attack the one who has received the most damage.
Pets have 2 parameters: health and thirst, indicated by 5 drops. When riding a pet, drops will gradually disappear (may also disappear as you travel). After the disappearance of the latter, the player will not be able to ride until he waters the pet in the well - it can be found in the village or go into the water with it.
To get a pet, you must first find the desired animal in the world, and then tame it.
How to tame a pet?
It's very simple, for this you need to have certain food in stock, depending on who you want to tame. What each type of pet likes we will analyze below, but the mechanics of taming looks like this: equip the bait in the pet slot and get closer to it. After your future friend starts eating, a heart will appear above his head. Wait until it grows to its maximum size and disappears. This suggests that the creature has become domesticated and tamed.
Taming treats can be knocked out of enemies or bought in a store in the city. Usually in one city there is only one type of food in the store, sometimes two.
If multiple animals were eating the bait at the time of taming, they will attack you after it is eaten by the fastest of them, but one animal will still be tamed
How to manage a pet?
You need to find the reins. These items are locked by regions, so you will have to find them every time you enter a new region. Talk to NPCs all over the place and they will hopefully tell you where they end up. Once you know their location, head there and collect them. You can now use the T key on your mount to jump!
Pet name
You can use the "/name pet NAME" command to name your pet! Press Enter to enter a command or chat with other players.
