All endings in Stellar Blade: methods of obtaining and consequences

Stellar Blade is an exciting action-adventure game developed by Korean studio Shift Up, and is expected to be released by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 5 in 2024. In this game you will find a post-apocalyptic world of the future, where the main character Eva fights “Neithib” monsters with the help of bladed weapons. Eve's journey is not only full of dangers, but also reveals deep plot branches that lead to different endings.

Introduction to Stellar Blade's story and game mechanics

Before diving into the details of the endings, let's take a quick look at the main elements of the game:

  • World of Games: After the apocalypse, the Earth has become a dangerous place where survival is an art. Explore ruined cities, abandoned laboratories and dark forests.
  • Combat system: Eve uses a variety of melee weapons to fight the Neytibs. The game includes elements of tactical combat and the use of the heroine's unique skills.
  • Research and interaction: Stellar Blade places a heavy emphasis on exploration and interaction with other characters, which influences the story and endings.

How to get all endings in Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade has three endings that you can get. This:

  1. Return to the colony
  2. The price of lost memories
  3. Making New Memories

If you want to unlock all the endings in Stellar Blade, you first need to know about some tough prerequisites. In particular, there are three points of no return that you need to be aware of.

Final requirements

The game's three endings follow the events that take place in the Nest, where you must make a fateful decision after meeting Adam. He asks you to take his hand, joining together to create a fusion of two beings and thus become the last hope of humanity. However, your discoveries, which also affect Lily, will play a key role in several outcomes.

Ending "The Price of Lost Memories"

  • Your progress/score with Lily must be below 100 percent before heading to Spire 4 (more on this in the section below on Eidos 4).
  • Take Adam's hand in the Nest.
  • Defeat the boss.

Ending "Making New Memories"

  • Your progress/score with Lily must be at 100 percent before heading to Spire 4. This will unlock the Eidos 4 region.
  • Take Adam's hand in the Nest.
  • Defeat the boss.
  • We don't want to spoil all the details, but the scenes are very different from those at the end of The Price of Lost Memories. Plus there is a post-credits scene. In short, "Making New Memories" is the best ending in Stellar Blade.

Ending "Return to the Colony"

  • Don't take Adam's hand in the Nest.
  • Defeat the boss.
  • You will always get the Return to Colony ending if you don't take Adam's hand. Your progress with Lily doesn't matter here.

Point of no return: progress of Lily, Eidos 9 and Spire 4 (orbital elevator)

Trying to get all the endings in Stellar Blade means you have to consider the points of no return. The first occurs after you complete the "Great Desert - Levoir Abyss" objective. Adam will ask if you are ready to head to the orbital elevator. Before choosing this option, you should remember two key factors:

  • How are you getting on with Lily?
  • Have you already done everything in Zion?

Whenever you take data sheets or documents, a progress bar appears in the top right corner. This reflects the number of discoveries Lily made while traveling with you.

  • If your progress with Lily is below 100 percent when you go to the orbital elevator:
    • The tetrapod will immediately fly to that location.
    • The decision to take Adam's hand later in the Eyrie leads to the ending "The Price of Lost Memories".
  • If your progress with Lily is 100 percent when you go to the orbital elevator:
    • Lily will ask if the trio can go to Eidos 9. This will open a secret level. You can find out more about this in our Eidos 9 guide.
    • Deciding to take Adam's hand later in the Nest will lead to the "Making New Memories" ending (i.e. the best ending).

Please note that achieving 100% progress with Lily does not mean obtaining all collectibles or documents in the game. Even if you miss a few, you can still score 100%.

Finally, we must warn you that visiting Eidos 9/Spire 4/Orbital Elevator will block your access to all NPC quests and collectibles in Zion. You will still be able to buy items from merchants when you return from Spire 4, but you will not be able to enter the city itself. So make sure you do everything you need to do in the city, such as collecting all the drink cans.

Point of no return: the path to the Nest

The second point of no return occurs after you have completed the objectives in Spire 4/Orbital Elevator. If you talk to Lily, she will ask if you want to track the signal. You will be taken to the Nest, the last location of the game.

Before this, all other regions should still be exploreable (with the exception of the interior of Zion). If you missed the Eva outfits, exospines, or message board events like Password Specialist Recruiting, now is the time to wrap things up.

Point of No Return: Final Showdown and Backup

The third and final point of no return is the camp inside the Nest. In fact, Eve states that this is the last camp you will encounter. After this, you will have to make a fateful decision when you talk to Adam.

Thus, now is the time to make a backup if you want to get all the endings of Stellar Blade. To do this, go to: Settings -> Storage -> Saved data -> PS5 games -> Upload to cloud storage. Try not to overwrite this file as you will be able to download and use it later.

Can you get all of Stellar Blade's endings in one playthrough?

Unfortunately, no, it is not possible to get all of Stellar Blade's endings in one playthrough. This is because the cost of lost memories and the creation of new memories depend on your progress with Lily. So here's what you need to do:

  • Collect tons of documents, data pads, and collectibles during your first playthrough to achieve 100% progress with Lily. With this, you will unlock Eidos 9 and experience everything the game has to offer.
  • Make a backup copy of your save in the Nest:
    • Don't take Adam's hand to get the Return to the Colony ending.
    • Download a backup copy of your save. Then take Adam's hand this time to get the "Making New Memories" ending.
  • Start New Game Plus and quickly play through the campaign (this means you're unlikely to make 100% progress with Lily). Take Adam's hand to get the "Price of Lost Memories" ending.

New game plus

Regardless of the ending you receive, you will unlock New Game+. Here's what you need to know:

  • Gold, SP, unlocked skills, gear, exospins, consumables, equipment, data records and more will all remain in effect. Practically, you can start from the first area with improved abilities and characteristics while wearing a bear costume.
  • Additional skills and upgrades become available. These include:
    • New beta skills and explosive skills.
    • Modernization of drones.
    • Keep increasing the power of your weapons.
    • Continue to maximize your health and energy with body nuclei and beta nuclei.
  • The plot and quest progress are reset.

Explore every corner of the world of Stellar Blade, interact with characters and collect important items to fully immerse yourself in the story and unlock all the possibilities of this exciting game. May your adventure be as exciting as the myriad outcomes Stellar Blade offers!
