Chernobylite is a first-person survival horror game that takes place in the so-called exclusion zone around the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The game was developed by the studio Farm 51 from Poland.
We play as a liquidator physicist named Igor. His beloved disappeared without a trace 30 years ago, during the events associated with the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl. The hero decides to return to the Chernobyl zone in search of his beloved. It turns out that there is a mysterious substance in the zone and the territory is controlled by the army. Besides, there is something unnatural waiting in the dark.

- Prologue
Prologue - Power Plant
Your dangerous journey begins near a nuclear power plant in the forest, in the company of two escorts - Olivera (Oliver) and Anton (Anton). Follow your companions. When you get to the fence, a dialogue with Anton will turn on. The hero will climb over the fence after finishing the conversation.
Unfortunately, your companions will remain on the other side. You must go alone. Turn left and keep walking until you reach a group of soldiers. You don't have any weapons - your only choice is to sneak around. Crouch down and go left. Watch the patrolling soldier and sneak when he turns his back on you.
- If the soldiers notice Igor, then you can pretend to be an electrician (answer option "A technician") and hint that you will report their drunkenness if they report you ("Maybe we'll come to an agreement?").
- Otherwise, you'll have to call Oliver for help. ("Oliver, take them down! Now!") and eliminate guards in battle.
Then go straight ahead to reunite with your comrades - talk to them and then pull out the Geiger counter.
Inside the nuclear power plant
You get inside the power plant by passing through the sewers. The first enemy is found inside the building. One of your comrades will inform you about this. Your task is to sneak up on the enemy standing on the right platform and knock him down.
After that, you must go to the control room. Interaction with the control panel. You have to decide if you want to click on the button AZ-5. If you do not do this (Igor may have a hallucination. Oliver will ask if everything is in order, and only in 1 answer out of 3 it will still be possible to press the button, due to which a terrible accident happened), your comrades will be forced Eliminate the guards while you move down the next corridor.
- If you do NOT press the button (answer options "I heard Tatyana" or "Find an excuse"), then the heroes will reach the accident site, where there is almost no radiation. Igor will take one crystal of Chernobyl growing here (the name of the game is read that way) and open the portal with it.
- If you press the button ("Press the button"), the red light alarm will sound. On the way to the crash site, Igor catches a flashback from 1986. Further, the heroes will enter the portal under the same conditions. However, this does not mean that there will be no consequences later - the plot Chernobylite closely related to time and errors.
Inside the portal, follow the green crystal path until you reach the exit. Next, look for the entrance to the bunker, it will be straight ahead. Get down downward and iditol to frames with the electronic lock. Frames will not let the hero through until he is cleared of radiation - scan the area around you for drugs ("Chemicals") using the device in the right hand. One jar of antiradium will lie on the shelves nearby - take it and apply it through inventory (button "I").
Once in the forest, scan the area with a Geiger counter for ingredients and other useful items. Collect everything that will be highlighted. Then find a fire with a cauldron and cook any food (listen to the girl's ghost for clues) - press the action button, select a dish and press "F". After that, it will be possible to eat, this will restore your strength and you will continue through the tutorial prologue.
