Carrion - Guide to All 9 Content Areas

В Carrion The DNA you collect serves to unlock various skills and passives. While many unlocks are story-based, each level contains one content area for players to find and unlock. To help you find them all, use our guide to all content areas.

➤Content areas can be accessed anywhere in the game (you just have to go back).
Most upkeep rewards are passives that make the biomass a little stronger.
The most efficient way to collect them all is at the end of the game when you have all the abilities unlocked.

Toxic Waste Dump Containment Area 1

The toxic waste dump containment block is the first one you will encounter. This containment area can be found after you have captured the second hive and are heading towards the exit. To find the container, look for two guards in the corridor with a white diamond on the wall above them. Clear out the guards and enter the door to reach the 1st containment area and the Echo Location ability. This ability allows you to use Shift to search for people and whole bodies to eat.

New Lands - Wasteland Containment Area 2

You will find container block 2 by moving to the right from the start of the level to the BSL-4 research area. Follow up and penetrate the water pipe from below. Move to the left to find the fish logo in front of you. This place can be visited before or after completing the bunker mission. All you need to access this container, - this is the second level of the monster (ability xiforrea), so you can break the tree blocking the entrance. Once inside the room, interact with the DNA container to get a passive Polycheiria, which grows a second tenacious tentacle (you can grab two targets at once).

Uranium Mines: Containment Area 3

You have abilities Giforey (Xiphorrhea) , Photokinesis (photokinesis) и hydrophilia (hydrophilia) , and you can access the containment area found in the uranium mines after the first hive. To access this content area, you need to use Hyphoraeato break the wooden block and then hydrophiliato crumble into a bunch of small worms and get into the room. Once inside, pull the switch, then use Photokinesisto avoid lasers. When you are about to run out of energy, stay still and shoot webs at the energy generator to recharge. Do this until you reach the DNA container with the ability Electrosis inside (Maximum energy level increased).

Botanical Garden: Content Area 4

To the left of the first hive, you will see a guard patrolling the room. Inside this room is a door leading to a container. To get to the door you need the ability Parasite, so you can take control of the guard (access through the water at the bottom left) to open the door for you. Once you've done that, switch back to the monster and enter the Container. To complete the puzzle in this area of content, you need to use the guard from the previous room to reach the switch in the left corner. Upon completion, you receive a passive pyrophilia, which increases fire resistance.

Leviathan Reef Base Containment Area 5

Before you can access this area of content, you must have hydrophilia and harpoonorrhoea. If you have both of them, you can access container 5, which is located in the water part of the Leviathan Reef Base (not to be confused with the Leviathan Reef Base - the bridge). Use the ability Harponorrhea (Harpagorrhea) on the pipe blocking the pipe on the right. Go through the pipe, then complete the water section using keratosis, to avoid explosives. At the end of the content area, you will receive a passive pyrophilia 2, which increases fire resistance.

Science Center: Content Area 6

As you exit the Science Center Headquarters, you'll find the entrance to Containment Area 6 on the right. To access a location, you need the ability Harponorrhea . If you have this ability, you can remove the blockage in the passage. After that, apply the biomass to the street, then move to the area.

Inside the containment area, go through the door and pull the switch to make the laser appear. Pass the laser using invisibility. Pull the lever on the left to open the gate above the water. Go back to where you put the biomass and take it. Bring it to the Container Block and drop it into the water that is now available (since we opened the gate). Repeat the laser part and pull the lever again so the biomass falls through the pipe into the section below. Head down and collect biomass so you can break through the barriers on the right side of the screen. Take the DNA to get upgraded Electrosis 2 .

Nuclear Reactor Containment Area 7

On Atomic Energy Planet, where you access the hive that is in the water, you will see a pipe pointing down. As soon as you will appear ability keratosis, go down this pipe and use the shield to avoid the explosive device on the right. Go down again to reach the containment area.

Inside the containment block, go through the door and press the switch to activate the laser. Drop the biomass in the room above if needed, then skip the laser. Use mind control to grab the enemy here and walk him through so he can reach the explosives below. Let the explosive device hit him, then head to the left so it opens up a room with DNA inside. Go through the vent on the right to proceed to the upgrade Electrosis 3 .

Armor Range: Containment Area 8

The eighth containment area can be found in the armored vehicle range level near the exit. Use the ability Keratosis, to knock down the explosives on the rock, blocking the path leading to the right. Explode the rock and go right to get to the device. Come inside and take an upgrade Electrosis 4 .

Bunker: Containment Area 9

Final content area in Carrion can be found in the last level of the game called Bunker. At this level, in the room with the first nuclear core, you will see a container. It's pretty hard to miss. Go inside the containment area and take the passive Polycheiria 2, as a result of which you a third tenacious tentacle grows.
