Capcom has released the first major update for Dragon's Dogma 2
Capcom today announced the release of the first significant update for Dragon's Dogma 2, its latest RPG, which aims to fix initial technical issues. The 1.5GB update is currently available for PS5 and Steam users, while Xbox owners can expect it to release soon.
This long-awaited update brings a number of important changes that players have expressed dissatisfaction with, including the ability to restart the game if you have saved games. The update also introduced an option to adjust graphics settings on PS5, which Capcom says won't have a significant impact on performance, but future updates promise FPS improvements.
Key highlights of the update include the addition of a new game option if you have saves, increasing the available number of Art of Makeover items to 99, the ability to obtain your own home at the start of the game, and various bug fixes and graphics improvements.
For PS5, additional options have been added, such as enabling/disabling motion blur, ray tracing, and setting a 30 FPS limit. The Steam version has improved image quality thanks to the DLSS SUPER RESOLUTION feature and fixes for specific model display issues.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is now available on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S, providing players with an updated and improved gaming experience.
