Call of Duty: Vanguard - Everything Shown at Activision Presentation

Activision held the previously announced presentation of the multiplayer Call of Duty: Vanguard. During the broadcast, Sledgehammer Games employees spoke about the features of multiplayer modes, as well as showed a trailer and gameplay.
While the core mechanics of CoD Vanguard feel as smooth as any previous year, Sledgehammer Games' many simple improvements are closing the skill gap more noticeably than ever before.

- 20 maps at launch (4 for Contest of Champions and 16 for other modes)
- The maps take place in different locations such as the Western Front, Eastern Front, North Africa and the Pacific Theatre.
- "Patrol" is a new mode in which a stronghold moves around the map and players need to capture it.

Call of Duty: Vanguard will release on November 5, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This month, the developers also plan to conduct a beta testing phase.
