Bofuri - Episode 5 Season 2 Recap
The maple tree arrives on the seventh floor. On this floor, players are allowed to tame monsters and befriend them. However, a player can only have one tamed monster. Since Maple and Sally already have one, they decide to help their guildmates. Sally sets a goal for her guild to have a tamed monster before the start of the eighth event. Everyone splits up to explore and collect more information.
Maple goes with Yui and Mai to find monsters to tame. They run into a couple of bears, but their speed is too slow for them. Izu gives them equipment that will increase their speed. Maple volunteered to gather more ingredients as Izu ran out of potions. Meanwhile, Yui and Mai return to try and tame the bears. Elsewhere, Kasumi has unlocked a new quest. Yui and Mai catch up with the bears, but a tree monster gets in their way. While gathering the ingredients, the tentacle monster drags Maple away.
Maple ends up eating the monster and earns a skill that allows her to have tentacles. Meanwhile, Yui, Mai, and Kasumi end up defeating their enemies. Yui and Mai tame two bears while Kasumi tame a small snake.
