The authors of Silent Hill Revived the Nightmares in the Halloween Event World of Tanks: Mirny-13
Players will fight monstrous tanks together and play by special rules, revealing the history of Mirny-13 in World of Tanks.
From October 26 to November 9, World of Tanks is happy to invite tankers to the biggest Halloween event in its 10-year history! In collaboration with Masahiro Ito, art director and monster designer behind the Silent Hill universe, and Akira Yamaoka, star composer behind the same nightmarish series, this event will introduce players to the sinister story of a science experiment that ended in failure.
In a new co-op PVE event, players must band together to save the world and uncover the history of the city of Mirny-13, using teamwork and tactical cooperation to overcome the armored manifestations of mysterious power!
“Inspired by the imagination of Ito-san and Yamaoka-san - we let our team run wild in a spooky season with a customizable event map and unique co-op mechanics; this PVE event will be like no other ”, says Max Chuvalov, director of the global edition of World of Tanks. “But be careful, those who go alone will do so at their own risk. Teamwork is key this Halloween and it's the only way to defeat your terrible enemies."
Players will travel through four changing worlds in a platoon of five in specially modified Tier IX tanks for the event, unlocking the history of Mirny-13 as they go.
“Working on Halloween this year for World of Tanks was a very interesting and rewarding experience,” Masahiro Ito says. “The combination of the passionate artists at Wargaming and our shared vision for a unique and intimidating event made it all possible. My previous work is known for its unsettling atmosphere, chilling narratives, and nightmarish critters, so hopefully World of Tanks players are ready to experience it all this Halloween! »
Throughout the event, tankers will be able to access unique event content, including special crew members, 3D styles and camouflages, as well as a bunch of experience and credits for the base game. They can even get their hands on the 3D skins designed by Masahiro Ito himself while enjoying the breathtaking event hangar ambient track created by Akira Yamaoka!
