Following the debut of the newest "Tales from the Outlands" video on October 26, Respawn Entertainment officially unveiled Apex Season 7 with confirmation of the new Olympus and Horizon map. as a new legend.
Apex Legends is finally getting a new map. After months of speculation and rumors, Respawn has finally confirmed that fans will be able to get to Olympus once Season 7 launches.
In addition to the new map, fans will of course be able to use the new legend called Horizon, which is what everyone has been waiting for at the moment. However, there is no official confirmation of what Horizon's abilities will be.
New Map: Olympus
Unfortunately, there are still few details about Olympus. The description for the new map reads : "Ascension to a beautiful, lush city in the clouds. Just watch your step - it's a long way to the planet below."
In addition, we also have a small look at the card itself in the form of an image posted on the Apex Legends website. Difficult to see but fans can clearly see the two large towers, as well as an egg-shaped building in the background.

New Legend: Horizon
We've been waiting for Horizon to be confirmed for some time as she was leaked beforehand, but now she's officially confirmed for season 7.
A new "Stories from the Outlands" video reveals her backstory, though it doesn't show much how she'll actually play.
As previously mentioned, there has been no official confirmation of her powers, however her description states that she uses "her new mastery of gravity", which fits in perfectly with previous leaks for the character that showed her using black holes and gravity lifts.
New travel mechanic: Trident
Respawn also revealed something called The Trident and hinted that it's a different way to travel the new Olympus map, but didn't provide any other details.
Could it be a new fast travel mechanic, or just a new vehicle that allows players to move faster? We just have to wait and see. The official developer description reads: “Olympus is a big place. Cover the ground faster with the trident. Plenty of space for the whole team! »
Season 7 - Ranked
Respawn also shared some details about ranked play in Season 7, including confirmation that as Olympus is added to the game, the King's Canyon map will be removed for now.
While the developer said there won't be any major changes in the new season, they tested crossplay in season 6 with a beta period and will judge the impact of that after the fact.
Clubs
The developers are finally introducing the previously leaked clubs feature as well. There's no word yet on how this feature will work. The description reads: “Find like-minded people, create a community and rise together.
Assuming previous leaks , then it will work similarly to a clan or guild. You will be able to group other players together to more easily find people with similar playstyles, though this has yet to be confirmed.
Season 7 of Apex Legends kicks off November 4, 2020, which is a week earlier than was expected .
