Epic Games recently announced a new promotion for players Fortnite, which will run from March 18 to April 14, 2024. As part of this promotion, players who purchase and redeem a physical V-Bucks card will receive the Midnight Scythe pickaxe as a bonus in-game accessory. The promotion is scheduled to begin in the next few days, but will only be available for a limited time.
The Midnight Scythe Pickaxe, as described in the post, is a stylish new harvesting tool in Fortnite. To receive this bonus item, players must have a valid Epic Games account. Each account can only receive one Midnight Scythe Pickaxe. To earn this reward, you can purchase V-Bucks both online and in physical stores.
V-Bucks cards can be purchased at many retailers. Players can get more information and redeem their V-Bucks cards on the official Fortnite website. It is important to remember that V-Bucks earned on Nintendo Switch can only be used on that platform, while V-Bucks earned on other platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Android and cloud gaming services) can be used respectively on these platforms.
The promotion is available in select countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, UK and USA. However, it should be noted that from March 19, 2024 in Australia, Japan and New Zealand the activation period of the promotion will be slightly changed.
Epic Games also announced that the promotion is not the only way to get the Midnight Scythe pickaxe. This item will later be available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop. However, while purchasing V-Bucks is a free way to obtain a pickaxe, purchasing them and then using them to obtain a pickaxe may seem unusual.
