9-minute God of War Ragnarok video showcases Kratos' new moves
Sony continues to hype gamers about the upcoming God of War: Ragnarok. This time, a long nine-minute video called "Fighting and Enemies" was released. It focuses primarily on animation, the combat system, and enemies. You can watch the video below.
In the video, developers from Santa Monica Studio note how it was created God of War: Ragnarok compared to the previous part from 2018. According to the game's lead combat designer Stephen Oyarijivbi:
“After our last game, we heard that the community really wanted more variety of minibosses, monsters, and other enemies. And this time we paid more attention to it.”
Examples of such diversity can be seen in the material under consideration; different enemies must appear in each of the Nine Worlds. GoW: Ragnarok will also introduce more weapons and attacks - for example, an attack available when falling from higher platforms, or one that can be launched after a thrown ax bounces off an opponent's shield. In addition, the developers mention the son of Kratos, Atreus, who is now more independent and has his own special powers. This results in a more complex and detailed animation of the boy.
Release God of War: Ragnarok November 9 will be held this year on PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles, and on November 3rd you'll read reviews from industry critics (including ours, of course).
