Crunchyroll has announced the premiere date for Season 3 of Demon Slayer for the popular action anime Demon Slayer Blade.
Demon Slayer Season 3, which covers the Swordsmith Village arc, premieres on Crunchyroll on Sunday, April 9th. The streaming service will air subsequent episodes each week after the streamer is available, and exclusively in North America, South America, and Europe.
"Tanjiro's journey takes him to the Swordsman Village, where he is reunited with two Hashiras, members of the highest ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps - Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji," reads the season 3 synopsis. "With shadows of demons lurking nearby, a new battle for Tanjiro and his comrades begins."
The first episode of the new season debuted in theaters earlier this month, where the one-hour premiere episode played alongside the final two episodes of Season 2. The premiere introduced fans to new characters and set the stage for the highly anticipated third season.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu from Yaiba is a shonen manga series created by Koyoharu Gotuge. Shueisha's weekly Shonen Jump produced a manga from February 2016 to May 2020. An anime adaptation by Ufotable premiered in April 2019. Haruo Sotozaki is the director of the series.
