Every year, Escape from Tarkov receives two wipes. The developers, Battlestate Games, usually release a ginormous patch along with the wipe that brings in various bug fixes, new features, weapons, map reworks, cosmetics, and more. With December already halfway through, players are eagerly anticipating the wipe for a fresh start. The recent TarkovTV live broadcast confirmed that patch 0.16 will arrive as part of the “Winter Update” in December 2024.

However, readers are advised to take the speculated release window with a grain of salt since BSG has not officially confirmed the date.
