Stalker 2 is a game set in a fictionalized recreation of the real-life Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, where a deadly nuclear disaster in 1986 left the nearby area uninhabitable for the next thousands of years. The protagonist of the game, Skif, is on a journey. Across the many areas he explores, he encounters a number of other characters who are of great significance to the story.
