Fortnite Winter Festival 2020 - Return of the Thunderbird, Christmas Candy Cane Skin

A recent Fortnite Winterfest 2020 leak suggests that planes may be returning to the game along with new Christmas skins.
The Fortnite Winterfest 2020 Christmas event is set to release next week with the v15.10 update. There is no official word yet from Epic Games on when it will be available, but the update that brings the Fortnite Christmas event with it should be out on Tuesday or Wednesday.
We've already talked about the Fortnite Winterfest 2020 event and know that we'll have one of the possible free Fortnite Christmas skins, a Christmas Carp, a new NPC - the Snowman, and more.
Fortnite Winterfest 2020 is also expected to release next week on Tuesday or Wednesday, and it looks like Epic Games is sending out teasers for the Christmas event in Russia and elsewhere. The email talks about the release of a candy-shaped Christmas skin and the return of the Thunderbird flying mount.
Christmas Skin Fortnite CANDY CANE
As already mentioned, the developers showed a teaser of a hitherto unseen skin. We know that Epic releases a new skin or cosmetic in the item shop every day during the event, so it's no wonder we see a new skin in a teaser. We don't know if this will be one of the free Fortnite skins we'll get as a result of the event, or if it will be available for purchase from the item shop.

Planes were added to Fortnite in Chapter 7 Season 1. When they were first introduced to Fortnite, there were a number of issues with planes with players complaining that they were too powerful.
Epic Games has made several changes to the planes, constantly nerfing them so they don't ruin the gameplay experience. We've seen helicopters taken off the map this season, and it looks like airplanes are taking their place.
In the teaser that's being sent out, you can see the Fortnite plane in the top right corner.
In the teaser, it looks like the plane is dropping presents. There's a chance the planes will only return as part of some additional Fortnite winterfest feature where gifts randomly drop on the map.
