Mysterious Event at the Podlom Pond in Fortnite

The countdown to the final Podlom Pond event has officially begun, and the community is looking forward to what it will bring.
The last few seasons of Fortnite Battle Royale have featured an in-game event that has drastically changed the world of Fortnite in exciting ways. Players can only experience this live once. Season 8 of Fortnite is no exception, as Epic Games prepared the Battle Royale title for a new in-game event set to take place at Podlom Pond. It is expected that at this point there will be a crash for one of the items currently in Fortnite. While the exact details of what will happen during this action are unclear, the official countdown to it has begun.
Podlom Pond Event Countdown
The start time was confirmed when Epic Games added a real-time countdown timer on top of the location. The start of the countdown for the latest Podlom Pond event has revealed that this long-awaited and mysterious activity will take place on Saturday May 4th.
In addition to the mysterious nature of the events taking place in the game on May 4, the official Twitter account for the popular game posted a tweet showing the countdown to the start of the event. This article from Epic Games consisted of the cryptic phrase: “Light breaks through the gate”, leading many to believe that currently vaulted weapons will be able to return to Fortnite when the start timer for the Vile Pond event reaches zero.
