One of the festivities is the Hyakunin Ikki event, and here's everything you need to know to complete it safely.
What is the Genshin Impact 2.1 Hyakunin Ikki event?
Event "Hyakunin Ikki" is an all-power fighting tournament to be held in Li Yue. Hyakunin Ikki is an open battle where players will assemble the best six team lineups they can create, with temporary characters provided by the game itself for the event. These teams will fight in different timed battles, rewarding you with different prizes depending on your performance.
Start date of the Hyakunin Ikki Tournament
Release date "Hyakunin Ikki" scheduled for September 1st and will last until the end of Update 2.1. To play this event, you must have at least access to the Li Yue region and unlock all Statues of the Seven Archons in areas of the map associated with the event. Activate them before the start of the event to start playing right away.
Hyakunin Ikki Awards
Taking part in trials "Hyakunin Ikki" , you will receive several awards. These include premium currency, experience materials, and even ascension materials. The following rewards will be awarded upon successful participation in the event:
- Primogems
- Hero's Wit
- Mora
- Mystic Enhancement Ore
"Hyakunin Ikki" Special Awards
In this event, you will receive the following special rewards, including the following new items:

Event Rules
During the event, complete the mission of the world Hyakunin Ikki: Endless Battle. After that, follow the directions on the map to teleport to the specified location and start the challenge:
| Hyakunin Ikki follows special rules. The characters must be divided into 6 squads, each squad can have up to 2 characters and 2 haryu arts. In addition, in this challenge, you can not only switch characters, but also entire squads. Units are switched in the order in which they were formed. |
Random Intent - Within 25 sec. after the squad enters the battle, the attack speed of all squad members is increased by 50%, and the resistance to interrupting the attack will also be significantly increased. Also, hits with a normal attack will restore 10% XP to the active character. XP recovery can occur once every 5 seconds.
| You can use the Change skill every 10 seconds to switch to the next unit. If one unit stays on the battlefield for too long, its combat effectiveness is drastically reduced. Switching units removes all effects and constructs, except for elemental statuses, left over from the previous unit. In addition, if all members of any squad die, the test fails. |

Official description of the event
● The Hyakunin Ikki Tournament runs for six days, with a new challenge unlocked each day.
● To participate in these challenges, you need to collect 6 teams of two characters from the provided trial characters or your own. You then need to select event-exclusive garyu arts for each team.
● Garou arts give buffs to teams on the battlefield. Each team can have no more than two Garyu Arts.
● To pass the test you need to defeat opponents and score as many points as possible in a limited time. When playing, score the indicated number of points to receive Source Stones, talent enhancement materials, Hero Experience, magic enhancement ore, pestilence and other rewards. Reach the specified score on all levels to earn the Ikki Celebration Name Card.
● Co-op Tournament Challenges are not available.
※ During Hyakunin Ikki Challenges, elemental resonance effects will be disabled and you will also be unable to consume food or use other items.
