Warzone Removes NecroKing Pack After New Skin Breaks Loading
The new NecroKing Mastercraft set only launched on March 21 in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, although it was already removed from the in-game store a few hours after release due to critical bugs.
With new packs in Call of Duty, players can buy their way to new items. While some collections are simple in appearance, others go beyond completely unique designs.
The latter was the case with the brand new NecroKing set rolled out to both BOCW and Warzone players. This dragon themed skin is one of the first ultra tier items with its own animation and visual effects.
The players really wanted to get their hands on the new set, but after a few hours it disappeared from the store. Activision removed the NercoKing package due to a number of "issues related to Warzone".
Ice Dragon weapon blueprint changes appearance
The key point of the new set is the Ice Dragon weapon blueprint. Exclusive to Krig 6, players cannot use this dragon skin on any other weapon in the game. With only one weapon in mind, this means there is only one strict visual design.
Unfortunately, when changing attachments on the new blueprint, this visual design faded. Setting the default stem caused the blueprint to lose much of its appearance.
This was clearly not the intended effect, and the developers were quick to respond.
"We are aware of Warzone-specific issues with the NecroKing pack when using the default barrel in the 'Ice Drake' Blueprint," wrote the official Activision support account. "The set will be temporarily removed from the Warzone store while the issue is resolved."
In the meantime, players who have already purchased the set are advised to use the ultra-light 16,5 barrel instead.
We're aware of Warzone-specific issues with the NecroKing bundle when using the default Barrel on the "Ice Drake" Blueprint. Currently, attaching the 16.5" Ultralight Barrel fixes this issue.

The bundle will be temporarily removed from the Warzone Store while this is addressed.
Critical issues in Warzone
In addition to visual issues, players have also reported a large number of deeper issues caused by the NecroKing kit.
“Since they added this, the whole store has become glitchy,” a Reddit user explained, “ DX-12 ". "If I scroll down, I get unloaded from the store."
Meanwhile, others encountered a serious error when entering a match. “If you add a set to [your] equipment, you won’t have anything in the game, not even fists,” another player explained.
Completely ruining various lobbies, the new cosmetic set seems to leave players empty-handed in the middle of a match.
While fixes for these issues are already in development, there is no ETA at the time of writing. Refunds have been made in the past for previous releases, so Activision may follow suit with the NecroKing package.
If you happened to get your hands on the new items before they were removed, be aware that it could cost you your next Warzone win.
