Back in 2011, the first game in the Warhammer 40K Space Marine series took players into third-person action, where we faced endless waves of xenos. Now, at The Game Awards, it became known that the game will have a sequel. It's being developed by the studio. Saber Interactive - authors World War Z.
Space Marine 2 release date

The only trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines 2 is the one embedded above, which premiered at the Game Awards 2021. It sees a group of Imperial Guardsmen slashing monsters with their saw-swords before one of them shows his face.
Ultramarine Captain Titus appears to be reprising his role as a playable character in this new game. Apart from the fact that it was mostly a cinematic trailer, there was some gameplay at the very end.
Like the first game, the gameplay will be from a third-person perspective, and as several generations of hardware have come and gone since the first game, it will also feature vastly improved graphics.
History of Space Marine 2?
Again, we don't know the exact story behind Space Marine 2 yet, but if you've ever come across any storyline in the Warhammer 40K universe, it's not hard to guess how it's likely to go.
Just from the trailer, we would say that the Imperial planet is under attack by a swarm of tyranids, and the Imperial Guard stationed there is steadily being destroyed. To save the day, the Space Marines arrive, genetically enhanced super-soldiers who are the best troops the Empire can pit against the monsters.
Space Marine 2 Co-op, Multiplayer
Space Marine 2 may well have a multiplayer mode. On the other hand, co-op wasn't a feature included in the first game, so it might not happen.
The first game's multiplayer was similar to Gears of War, so if you're a fan of the series, Warhammer is definitely something to look forward to.
