All Existing and Disappeared Fortnite Locations, Island Evolution.

location-fortnite-img

The Fortnite map has changed throughout all the seasons, or rather, not the map itself, but the island that lives by the rules dictated by the developer Epic Games.

Fortnite Island can rightly be called a "Living Organism", because it grows and develops. For all the time, a variety of things happened on it, rockets were launched, robots fought with monsters, a meteor shower fell, and finally beacons appeared that change the map with enviable frequency.

In this post, we will take a detailed look at all of the Fortnite Island changes since Season XNUMX. This post will be updated as changes are made to the Battle Royale landscape, so bookmark this article and subscribe to our mailing list to stay up to date with all the changes in Fortnite.

Season 1 Fortnite

The first map of the island was quite boring and consisted of one biome. Even then, she had 13 locations listed below:

  • Pleasant Park
  • Acres of Anarchy
  • Roaring Grove
  • Tomato Town
  • distant house
  • Sneaky Pond
  • Old Warehouse
  • Greasy Diner
  • Prickly Keys
  • Fields of Doom
  • Muddy Bog
  • Faience Factory

Season 2 Fortnite

In the second season, the map became brighter and more contrasting, while receiving several new locations, namely:

  • Spontaneous Junkyard
  • Gloomy Hills
  • Rich Coast
  • Abandoned Towers

Season 3 Fortnite

In the third season, the island as a whole did not undergo significant changes, but received only one new location. Chinatown. Externally, the map began to look brighter and more saturated.

Season 4 Fortnite

Towards the end of Season 3, Epic Games started teasing players with what looked like a glowing Meteor looming over the map. They then went further, adding flickering TV distress signals, warning everyone that something was about to happen. Soon, a powerful meteor shower hit the surface of the map!

As the server downtime for the start of Season 4 came to an end, players who logged into the game were greeted with some pretty significant map changes.

Here is an image of the updated map:

A meteor shower destroyed several locations and added two new ones, namely:

  • Nightmare Cinema
  • Treacherous Funnel

The old warehouse was half destroyed, and the Prison area was also badly damaged.

Throughout Season 4, the map has changed a bit, mostly in the Verolm Sinkhole, where trees have started to grow in the crater.

Season 5 Fortnite

With the arrival of season 5, the changes to the island were already significant. The desert biome has been added along with many new locations while other locations have been removed. Lush Palms and a desert biome have largely replaced the Bog and Prison that have been there since the beginning. In addition, the Treacherous Funnel began to actively overgrow with trees.

New locations that appeared in Season 5 of Fortnite:

  • Lush Palms
  • Lazy Holes
  • viking village

Season 6 Fortnite

Season 6 brought with it a mysterious purple cube, also called Kevin. The Mysterious Cube started out in the Podlom Pond, but then began to travel around the map throughout the season. This season has seen many small changes revolving around the Mystic Cube. No new locations were added this season, however, there were many zombie spots on the island and the Kevin Cube destroyed the house on the Podlom Pond.

Season 7 Fortnite

In season 7, another biome was added -snow. It was also the first time the size of the map actually increased. In the snow biome, we saw three new named locations:

  • Arctic Airfield
  • Polar Peak
  • Holiday Village

At the same time, the following were removed:

  • Greasy Diner
  • Faience Factory

Season 8 Fortnite

In season 8 we lost Roaring Grove with lazy holes, and also added Area. Instead of a weeping forest, a huge volcano erupted, which gave us two new locations:

  • Solar Steps
  • lazy lagoon

Season 9 Fortnite

Season 9 of Fortnite changed the island a lot, the most popular locations at that time disappeared from the face of the earth. True, they were replaced by new, no less interesting areas.

Here is what the Fortnite Season 9 map looks like:

Abandoned Towers were completely destroyed in the event at the end of season 8, but instead of them, New Towers. Buildings have become completely different, but the building No Sweat Insurance, which miraculously survived the volcanic fallout, is still standing and is now located next to the restaurant Durr Burger.

A store also suffered from volcanic rocks and was destroyed in one blow. Now settled there Giant Hypermarketand we can see the pizzeria restored in the mall.

The volcano was added in season 8, but it wasn't a named location on the map. Now it has received the name of the Heat Pipes, which is located and is located in the crater of the volcano.

The main change in Podlom Pond lies in the fact that a massive pipe has appeared that runs from the vault to the New Towers, which may mean that the lake now feeds the Towers.

Also, seven new sky platforms.

Like sky platforms, the northwestern part of the map has windmills.

Epic added new animal structures in Season 9. A fish structure has appeared in the hot springs, which are located northeast of Lazy Lagoon.

Season 10 Fortnite

In Season 10 of Fortnite, the map is constantly changing. Specialists from Epic Games promised that we won't get bored, and that's the way it is!

Return Old Warehouse in place Treacherous Funnel, emergence
Meteora, which hovered over the map and can be visited, the transformation New Towers в Village of Prospectors, time domain appearance Pandora in the desert biome, spawn floating island, which moves around the map, this is what happened already today. Several new lighthouses, which return the old locations to the places of the new ones, are already working, which means that the next changes are just around the corner!

There are small new additions to the map such as a statue stone head and return giant chair

We will present the final look of the Fortnite katra with all the changes at the end of season 10. Stay with us!
