So that you are not just food for ghosts, but act as a full-fledged hunter, in the game you will need tools for researching ghosts, as well as for your own protection. There is a basic set of tools available to everyone, but most of the tools you will have to buy in addition to the store. At the moment, all tools become available for purchase at level 8.

One of the most needed and used items in the game, because in the dark they are the most effective means. Upon reaching the desired level, I advise you to immediately buy a strong flashlight and, preferably, several.

You need to put it in the room where the ghost is located, and if he writes something, then mark it as evidence.

Camcorder/Tripod

Video cameras can be placed in the ghost room to detect ghostly auras and other ghost activity.
You can mount the camera on a tripod, thereby you can set it to a more advantageous position.

EMF sensor

One of the basic items. Allows you to detect the location of the ghost (around 3 bars), and can also warn of the proximity of the ghost (from 2 to 5 bars, depending on activity). Can be placed in front of the installed video camera to detect the movements of the ghost.

UV Flashlight/Neon Stick

These items will help you find prints to mark as evidence. The difference between them is in range - a flashlight allows you to look for prints where the camera is pointing, and a wand allows you to look for them around you, but you must be in close proximity.
Fingerprints should be looked for on doors (most often found on them), on light switches and on windows.
If you spill salt around your house and notice that a ghost has walked over it, you may see footprints next to the salt in UV light (not always), but this is NOT EVIDENCE.

Thermometer

Pretty useful item - helps to find the habitat of the ghost. It is advised to purchase as soon as possible.

The thermometer has three reading ranges:

• ➤11 - 20°C: means nothing - nothing at all;
• ➤0 - 10°C: May indicate that the room is haunted, BUT DOES NOT CONSIDER EVIDENCE;
• ➤The whole sub-zero temperature is the EVIDENCE at which STEAM IS COMING out of the mouth.

Task: to find a room with a temperature below zero is performed even with the second range, i.e. if the temperature is <10 °C!

Voice recorder/directional microphone

These devices can help you communicate with ghosts.

Stand with a microphone in the room where the ghost lives, turn off the light and try to ask him a few questions. There is a chance that he will answer you. He did not answer in Russian yet, in English he said “next”, perhaps he wanted to hear the next question.
UPD: Mara answered "chill out" or something similar.

How a directional microphone works is not yet clear. Perhaps he allows you to ask without entering the room with a ghost, or perhaps he simply removes unnecessary interference - it remains to be seen.
