Important decisions in addition
In Dying Light 2's Bloody Ties expansion, there are only a few important decisions you have to make that will really affect the rest of the game. The events that will take place in the game before the final will depend on the choice below. They will also partly affect the ending of the DLC.
Ciro's fate
During the quest "The Cursed Path" you will have to fight Chiro, your new friend from the expansion. The battle with him cannot be avoided, as soon as you lower his health to the minimum value, the following choice will appear in front of you:
- Finish off Ciro to become the new contender for the Skull fight; This will deprive you of one of the Bloody Ties endings and make it harder to complete the final stage. Later, you will have to fight the Destroyer alone.
- Let Ciro win by losing the fight. You just need to miss a few hits from him to trigger a cutscene. In this case, the character will help you several times and open access to an additional ending.
If Chiro is alive, he will deal with the Destroyer himself, which will appear during the final battle.
Help from prisoners
In the final battle, former prisoners of the arena can come to your aid. Before the battle with the Skull, you will need to defeat four champions. If you freed the prisoners during the Glory or Infamy quests, they will help you in the battle.
All Dying Light 2: Bloody Ties endings
Dying Light 2: Bloody Ties has everything three endings. Each of the endings depends solely on your choice of what to do with the Skull Mask after defeating him.
DLC endings:
- «I am the new champion". The option is always available. Aiden will become the new champion of the arena and receive a legendary helmet that can be used in the character's equipment.
- «Ciro must wear this mask". The option is only available if you spare Ciro. Aiden will hand over the mask to Ciro and a short cut-scene will follow. You will not receive the Legendary Skull Mask, but the rest of the rewards will remain.
- «It's already without me". The option is always available. Aiden will throw away the mask and simply leave the arena. The mask will also be lost, but the reward for completing the add-on will remain.
The endings differ from each other by cut-scenes, the final reward and the achievement received. In addition, some characters may later react differently to Aiden during dialogue.
