All codes of safes and doors in Stray
Stray is filled with puzzles and adventure. Four of these puzzles require a code to crack the safe. Here are the Stray security codes and how to find them.
Stray is a dystopian adventure game where you play as a cat who is trying to get out of the city he is in. During this adventure, you will encounter a variety of puzzles that vary in difficulty. Some of these puzzles require the knowledge of codes in order for you to be able to open the doors or the safe itself.
Solving puzzles is usually finding the password to a door or safe in Stray, which is really a challenge. Fortunately, the answers are available and are usually posted on walls throughout the city or hidden behind something. However, here are all the codes found in Stray.

Apartment door code location
The first code you will encounter is in the apartment where you first find your drone. The drone will direct you to the door itself, but keep you trying to figure out how to open it. Fortunately, this can be done in a few simple steps.
Once you find the locked door, you will need to turn around to face it from the end of the hallway. Then just head to the open doorway on the right.
Inside the room, you will need to look at the left wall or the wall opposite the piano if you turn around. There is a door code on a board hidden by paint cans. Make sure you shine your light on the wall otherwise the code will be too dark to see.
The last step in finding the code is to do what cats do best, pushing things on the floor. Jump up to the board itself and click on the can of paint. This will show the code which is: 3749. Return to the locked door, enter the code, and everything will be opened.
Slum door code
This is the second and last location of the door code in Stray that you will need to find. It is located in the slums, and to be more precise, in the house of Seamus. This time it includes a puzzle.
After learning that there is a secret room, you will need to head to the room on the right. When you see a photo of what looks like Seamus and his father, jump up and grab your claws to make it fall.
Once the picture is taken, a clue to the Stray door code will be revealed, although you will need to translate it first. The translation will read "time will show". Now you need to look at the wall clock, which contains the answer.
Look at the time the clock shows.
Despite the fact that the watches themselves are very different from what we are used to, they all show a recognizable time. This is the code: 2511.
After the code has been found, turn right and scratch the biggest picture. The picture will fall, revealing the keyboard. Just enter the code and explore the secret room.
The code for the safe in the slums
The second location with the code in the slums is relatively early in the game. It can be found right after you meet the Guardian and get the note.
Knowing how to open the safe in the slums is relatively simple. Once you meet the guardian, head to the stairs to your left and go past the musician leaning against the wall. Keep going until you reach the gate and head left, the safe should be in sight.
As you approach the safe, you will find a secure Stray password that will be undecrypted. To decode it, head to Elliot Programming and scratch the door to open it.
Once you get Elliot Programming, just talk to him and he will tell you to go to a place called Duffer Bar. It's not too far from where the original guardian is. Go there and find the neon sign.
Jump up to the sign, scratch the painting and it will show the security code that is 1283. Then go back to the safe and you can get your reward.
Code to the safe in the city center
The final security code is found in Chapter 10 of the story, otherwise known as Midtown. This, thankfully, requires a bit of exploration and mostly takes place in the same room.
The first thing you'll want to do is check out an electronics store. It's relatively bright, so it shouldn't be too harsh. Then just jump through the window and into the room itself. You can see the safe in the upper corner, however, it's worth getting the code first.
After you have passed through the window, turn to the unreadable poster and ask the drone to translate it. This will provide you with a secure code for a safe in Midtown. It is reversed, so the code will be like this: 8542.
Then just jump up to the safe behind you and enter the safe code.
