All Map Changes in Warzone Season 2: Tanker, Bunkers with Weapons, Closed Locations, etc.
The second season of Warzone has arrived , and along with all the new content added by Raven Software, there are some major changes to the Verdyansk map.
It's undeniable that many Warzone players have been looking forward to getting their hands on a new map in Season XNUMX, and while it's not there yet, the community will have to make do with a few notable changes made to Verdyansk.
Headlining the map changes is the new location Tanker Vodyanoy, which has brought zombies back to the war zone. In addition, there are three massive new weapon silos that store a lot of valuable loot.
To complete the list, the developers decided to close several locations, including the subway and six different bunkers. You can find full details on this below.
Warzone Season 2: Water Tanker
"The doomed cargo tanker known as the Vodyanoy ran aground in a low swamp mouth less than a kilometer west of the Zordaya prison complex."
The cargo tanker that was approaching Verdansk finally made it to the port, and by that we mean that it completely hit the shore near the Prison. officially named Vodyanym, this new attraction is fairly large in size, with fully accessible outside space and multiple floors inside.
The most important thing to know about the tanker is that it is infested with zombies as part of the new Outbreak event taking place in the Cold War and Warzone. Killing these zombies will earn you points to unlock new rewards in the event, and if you kill enough, you can get a yellow key card that unlocks crates with lots of high-level loot.
Warzone 2 Season: New Weapon Bunkers
"A group of operatives discovered missile silos hidden under three city military monuments."
Also new to Verdyansk are the three weapon silos, which contain many valuable weapons and items for players to loot. These rooms are actually quite large, so you should definitely consider exploring them if you get the chance.
Where to find weapon bunkers in Warzone Season 2:
- ⋅ Yardvin monument above Arklov's Peak military base
- ⋅ Zozhnensky monument southeast of Novograznensky hills
- ⋅ Stersky monument in Tavorsky park

Closed Locations Season 2 Warzone
"Due to pollution, safety protocol calls for the complete closure of the following locations."
Raven Software gives and Raven Software takes. Balancing out all the new additions to Verdansk are a few areas that the developers have decided to restrict access to.
These include the subway system, the stadium garage, and bunkers 00, 04, 05, 06, 09, 11. It is not clear at this point if any of these POIs will be re-included, although it may be a moot point if Verdansk is indeed will be destroyed during season 2.
This concludes everything you need to know about the major changes to the Verdyansk map in Warzone Season XNUMX.
