Epic Games has announced the Free Fortnite Cup this weekend and fans are confirming the official start time for the event.
Free Fortnite The Cup will be one of the last major events of Season 3, allowing players across all platforms to play together.
As confirmed earlier this month, Fortnite Mobile will no longer be updated on the iOS platform, meaning some players will be left behind with the launch of Season 4.
A message from Epic Games states: “These are the last days where the entire Fortnite community can play together.
“Apple has banned Fortnite from the App Store preventing players from updating to newer versions. Players on iOS devices will be left behind in Chapter 2 - Season 3 while everyone else will move on to Chapter 2 - Season 4 launching on August 27th.

Epic Games is warning players that they will need to continue playing Fortnite Battle Royale across platforms, adding:
"If you're left behind on iOS after the launch of Chapter 2 - Season 4, the party continues on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, GeForce Now, and through the Epic Games app at epicgames.com and the Samsung Galaxy Store" .
What time does the #FreeFortnite Championship start?
Epic Games has confirmed that the release date for the Free Fortnite Cup on all platforms is Sunday, August 23rd.
This means PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Mobile, and new prizes will be offered to members.
All the rules and prizes were listed online, but there weren't many clues offered as to when things would start.
