Genshin Impact Update 2.2 Leaks: Tomas, Tsurumi, Rerans, and Tons of Other Details

Patch 2.2 of Genshin Impact will be released in a month, and a lot is already known about it. New characters like Touma join the roster, and the final update of the Inazuma map is expected with the launch of Tsurumi Island.

Genshin Impact 2.1 update, came out only on August 31, and the players are already waiting for the next major patch, as it should be for real gamers!

Patch 2.2 is expected to include a few of the last Inazuma islands before the opening of the new region, as well as many new characters to play and bosses to fight. Here's what we know so far.

Release date for version 2.2 of Genshin Impact

There is no fixed date for downloading version 2.2 of Genshin Impact, but given that miHoYo is on a six-week patch schedule, you can expect the next update to be released in early October.

It's rumored to happen 12 October , exactly six weeks after patch 2.1 was released on August 31st.

Genshin Impact version 2.2 new characters: Toma, reran Hu Tao and Childa

Tom's Stats

Touma's skills

Е - Defender Chuuken.
Touma sticks his spear into the ground and, leaning on it, strikes forward with the power of Pyro, dealing AoE damage to Pyro. In addition, he creates a Pyro shield around himself and dyes all his attacks in Pyro.
- Shield depends on max. HP Tom.
- Activating the skill again transfers the remaining shield to a new one, allowing its durability to be stacked.
- Duration - 8 sec, CD - 15 sec.
- Maximum durability - 23.5% of Toma's HP.

Q - Blazing Armor of Fire.
Spins his spear, deals AOE damage to Pyro and creates flaming armor.

Once per second, a character protected by armor will cause waves of fire on normal attacks that deal AOE Pyro damage.
- 80 energy.
- 15 sec duration of the ult, 20 - CD.
- 8 sec shield duration.

Constellations Toma

C1 - If someone hits a character under the protection of Toma's skill (but not Toma), the cooldowns of E-shki and ults are reduced by 3 seconds. Once every 20 seconds.
С2 - Armor created by Touma's ult lasts 3 seconds longer.
С4 - When Touma's ultimate hits enemies, it restores 1. energy for Tom. Once every 0.3 sec.
С6 - +15% to normal, charged and falling attacks for 6 seconds when receiving protection from an elemental skill.

Randomly generated dungeon with different mobs, consisting of 4 stages! This is an endless event activity with three types of rewards.

New Enemies in Genshin Impact 2.2

Hounds (Riftstalker Hound and Riftstalker Whelp)

Enemy attacks inflict Corrosion status (like a future abyss that gradually reduces HP. Bleeding that hits through the shield. Stacks.
Hitting a Geo Hound with a Geo Element, an Electro Hound with an Electro Element, etc. will cause the Hound to enter the "Demonic Thirst" state. This will strengthen and speed it up, but lower its resistance.

There will be Geo and Electro variant of the new enemies.

Twisted Abyss 2.2

When the character's ultimate is 50% charged or higher, he gains a stack of 6.5% ATK every second. Maximum stacks - 10, 65% ATK. When a character's energy drops below 30%, stacks disappear.

Phase 2

A character with a fully charged ult gains 1 stack every second. Each stack grants 5% damage to your ultimate. Maximum stacks - 10. Using the ult absorbs all stacks and strengthens the ult. During the duration of the ult, stacks do not accumulate.

Phase 3

Characters with an ult above 50% will constantly release waves of damage. When the energy is at its maximum, the waves will be much (~+66%) stronger.

Ninth floor:
There will be a plasma field at the edge of the arena that will strike the player with lightning once every 5 seconds if they are inside. Expands over time.

tenth floor:
The bosses on this floor have vassals to protect them. Each vassal gives 10% physical. and email resistances, and also restores 5% of the boss's HP every 12 seconds

Eleventh floor:
Pyro Damage +60%
Hydro Damage +60%

Twelfth floor:
