Fortnite Leak Hints At Third Mystery Faction

The current Fortnite season could be getting a major shake-up as a recently leaked skin seems to hint at upcoming storylines with the addition of a third faction that could rival the Ghosts and Shadows.
The development of the plot in Chapter 2 of Fortnite for a long time remained slow and not saturated. Epic Games often throws in subtle teasers as the season closes to the main climax. These main storylines usually end with some sort of action that ends the current season and provides a launching pad for the next one.
Fortnite Chapter XNUMX Season XNUMX is no different. We are currently following the events surrounding Deadpool and the long-standing battle between the Ghost and Shadow factions.
The latest cosmetic leak has the Fortnite community speculating whether the new faction will compete with the minions of the Shadow and the Ghost, or if it's a hint of what's to come in Season XNUMX.
Overview of the new Fortnite leak
After the latest Fortnite update, a well-known FortTory insider discovered a brand new skin in the game files called "Spy".
The character looks like a stylish special operative. services with an earpiece and a variety of weapon holsters. With folded hands behind his back, the figure looks confident and ready for any combat action.
Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the makeup is the all-new logo on his right shoulder. The silver emblem is placed on a dark background with gold trim to complete the unique look.

It has some relations to the NPC's, could this turn out to be a NPC that will be located to an POI like the other NPC's or will we see it somewhere else, perhaps in the lobby or just as a skin?

While the cosmetics leak may be nothing more than an upcoming skin, there may be more to it than meets the eye.
The dataminer questioned whether the skin would be usable, or whether the character would simply appear as an NPC at a point of interest. Perhaps even just a new addition to the main menu, for example.
Others suggest that the new logo could tease a third secretive faction joining the season's battle. Perhaps to overthrow the Ghost or the Shadow, or even destroy them both? There are plenty of possibilities if this leak turns out to be more than just new gear.
There is no indication of when the "drain" may see the light of day on the live version of the game. However, before end of second season only a few weeks left. The story should continue soon, given how close we are to season three.
