Fortnite Season 9 Leak Includes Bounty Information

Fortnite Battle Royale players may finally be able to gift the Battle Pass during the upcoming Season 9, according to a new leak.
Gifts in Fortnite
Gifting is available in Fortnite Battle Royale for a limited time as Epic Games first introduced the feature in update v6.31. Since then, it has been brought back several times to give players the ability to transfer skins and other items to their friends.
Now, according to new leaks, it looks like he'll be making a comeback in Season 9 and players will be able to gift more than just skins and emotes.
Combat Pass as a Gift
According to the apparently dated files, players will be able to gift Battle Passes to their friends during Season 9, which will be released soon, starting around May 9th.
A number of Fortnite Battle Royale leaders have revealed new information on Twitter, including FNBRLeaks. Although the user didn't have any game code or leaked animation to show us, he tweeted, "Starting from Season 9, you will be able to gift users a Battle Pass through the Gifting system."

This information was apparently backed up by another Fortnite Battle Royale executive, Guille-GAG, when they tweeted a photo of in-game files that looked like a set of codes that would allow players to trade passes.

Despite these alleged leaks, there hasn't been a single official word from Epic Games on whether players will be able to gift Battle Passes to their friends.

Since there hasn't been any official word, confirmation or otherwise, there's sure to be speculation as to how long this gift period could last given that players were previously allowed to purchase items for their friends for approximately one week. It remains to be seen if this idea will actually be implemented in the game, and if players will need more account protection than the multi-factor authentication that was required for gifts in Season 6 and earlier in Season 8.
