Fortnite vending machines can heal downed players in Chapter 3
If you need resuscitation to stay alive in Fortnite on your knees, seek help from a vending machine!
The newest vending machine trick in the game allows players to stay alive for a long time until help from allies arrives.
Over the years, Fortnite has made many changes to improve survivability. A prime example is the introduction of a system for carrying and transporting a knocked down player so that teammates can carry each other to safety, Epic Games always takes care of those who have been taken out of combat.
However, this time around, the developers have gone even further, allowing cunning players to increase the amount of time left on their ever-draining health bar when on their knees.
Weird Fortnite Vending Machine Trick Helps Players Survive
Players can take advantage of this trick by crawling up to any of the vending machines on the map after they have been knocked down.
When you crawl in front of the car, a tooltip to interact with it appears, and any downed user can exchange gold bars to replenish their health, increasing the time until reinforcements arrive.
It's all part of Fortnite's new philosophy that players should be able to stay in the game when they're downed: "You can also use ziplines and open doors when you're on your deathbed.
There is a running joke now that this can make matches more enjoyable for all the less experienced players: “The game is changing. With 90% of the game knocked out, I might last a little longer on the island, haha.”
While this isn't the biggest change in Chapter 3, it certainly seems popular with the community, with one fan suggesting that these sorts of updates will keep Fortnite on top of the battle royale mountain forever: "Little updates like this are what make FN more fun." than other games. What a strange and wonderful thing! ".
